March Favorites

Whew the month of March flew by so fast. I made alot of new blog friends, because who knew Florida was LOADED with them. I also completed a months worth of diy projects that will start making their appearance soon. With that being said of course I would have tons of favorites for that month.

For #1 if you're not of the female gender then this wont be of any interest to you. You can find this sassy skirt at Target. It's by Merona and in the color navy, what woman doesn't need more clothes. Its super comfy and perfect if you work in a office.

As far as #2 its been hitting the blogging world like a storm. Terrariums are the shiznit right now, I of course had to give it a go. Now my whole house looks like a picture of Poisons Ivy's lair. It's cool though because I only need about 100 more till I think I've got an obsession.

Number 3 is just the same as the previous. Alot of people are using them, and while I have some I just haven't found a unique way to display them. I'd also have to saw them off the skull they're on so i've been postponing that as long as possible.

As far as #4 what girl doesn't like Ouchless hair ties? I never have to worry about having half my hair rip out when put it down.

Number 5 is the amazing Black and Decker hand sander. I've been complaining about the larger one we have hurting and making my fat jiggle when I use it. So of course Jason was the knight in shining armor and bought a smaller one, that's perfect for someone like me.

For #6 I couldn't really show you the exact one that's my favorite. But its a file storage ottoman, and now I have two. The directions are really simple and I cant wait till I share it with you peeps this month.

If you have any monthly favorites please leave them in the comments below.

February Favorites!

Time for our monthly favorites! I had so many favorites this month that I decided a sixth item was needed on the list, it was hard to choose. But in the end I compiled a list of Jason's and my favorites.

1. Is Sharpie paint pens, we got a chance to use this product in our guest bedroom. In case you missed that post we decorated the walls with the sharpie paint pens in a triangular pattern. It was both fun and annoying. The product applied smooth with a few minor accidents. The only con about this product is that we had to constantly shake the pen for the inside paint to apply evenly.

2. The Stanley combination tool with degree angle, was the best purchase for our DIY projects. We've been building pieces that require 45 degree angles and were stumped on how to make them. I stumbled across this little guy while picking up Command Poster strips. Best $7 purchase ever!

3. Thomas Banana Bread Bagels, I've literally ate my weight in these suckers. Thrown on some honey butter and the taste buds are singing a melody. Its got that Banana bread taste with the texture of a bagel. Perfect combination!

4. I was informed about the Suave Moroccan oil body lotion from a fellow blogger. My skin is picky, in the winter my arms start flaking and turning red. They just scream HELP ME! I'm really impressed with this stuff. It does have a slight fragrance that might not be for everyone, but as the day continues the smell diminishes but my arm are still silky smooth and moisturized.

5. I found a favorite paint brush! I never thought this would happen. I've been seeing alot of bloggers use the short handle brushes and just rave about them on their reviews. So I decided to head to home depot and bum-rush the lady in the paint section.

Me- "Where's the short handle paint brushes?"
Home Depot Employee- "The short handle what"
Me- "The paint brushes with the short handles."

I must of had a wild look in my eye's because she showed me where they were then she was out of there. I had to find someone else to make my paint because she was gone and nowhere to be found.

6. Oh my gee the final thing to make it on this list is Jason's favorite. If you're ever in Target and are in need of a comforter they have the perfect one. Jason kept talking and raving on and on how this one is super soft, it's the perfect density and keeps the correct temperature. Well needless to say when I informed him this comforter was for the guest bedroom, I was told I need to pick one up for our bed. We even had his little brother Adam come and visit who agreed the comforter was perfect.

January Favorites

Okay folks we're starting something new on the blog, and we're hoping that it becomes a hit! Everyone has their favorite products...Jason and myself are no exception. We've been known to recommend some really great things to family and friends here lately. Dealing with ton of different products and brands for our "little" projects makes this happen. So this month I've compiled 5 things that have really made an impact on this month for us me mostly. They range all over the board from clothes to things for your car.
If you're wondering why only 5 products? ...well I had to seriously narrow down the list and these five are the best of the best. We've purchased all products ourselves so I'm not going to come on here and sugar coat these reviews. (Hell even if I was paid per review I don't want to lie to you folks.)

1.  I've been needing some new shoes for my full time job...building stuff & blogging is not my full time job. Though I wish it was! I normally stick with plain shoes: Flats and wedges..I'm too accident prone for anything else. I was excited when I took my weekly trip to Target and found their flats 2 pairs for $30. They are extremely comfortable..I feel like I'm walking bare footed which in Georgia and Florida people don't even think twice when we see someone without shoes. They're the Mossimo Supply Co. Ona Scrunch Ballet Flats in Cognac and Black. They're made extremely well. I almost wish I could pull off animal print and go buy those. But lets be honest some of us just aren't that hardcore.

2. At the end of last year Jason and I broke down and got a water filtration system. One of those heavy duty ones that's taking up way too much space in my garage...that could be filled with thrifted goodies. In buying said system we were given 5 years worth of cleaning supplies. I'm talking glass & multipurpose cleaners, laundry detergent, three types of soaps, Shampoo (That I'll never use..Finesse all the way) and tons of other supplies. I waited till I ran out of my hoarded stash now to finally uses these products. I'm now hooked I don't want to use anything else. Surprisingly they actually smell great. I don't have to worry while I clean my toilet and hack up a lung thanks to the fumes. I look forward to cleaning my kitchen...except for the dishes I hate those bastards.

3. I picked up this free printable from over at Irocksowhat for our guest bedroom, swing on over and pick up yours. While you're there show Jess some love on the amazing work she does.

4. We got this blooming onion maker from a yard sell. Brand new in the box still wrapped for $3, I love me some blooming onions from the fair or from The Big Z up in Georgia. I'm sure I'll be buying a pants size larger if I can fully perfect the puzzle of the Blooming Onion and Chipolte dip. Jason doesn't like them THANK GOD because I don't like sharing my food.

5. As you all know I got a brand new car last year and dubbed it Charlotte. Charlotte is my baby and since I'm in it two hours a day I need it to keep smelling great. So I picked up some sentables from Bath and Body works. My favorite is Lavender Vanilla.
